Homeschooling and yard work are consuming my life at the moment. Not a bad thing, just how I’ve been spending my time. All I want to do is be outside since the weather is getting so nice, but I’m essentially limited to the yard so I’m getting a lot done. Today I had my husband cut down the dying tree in our front yard for exercise since the gym is closed. Tomorrow I will chop up the limbs into more manageable sections. Then at some point my dad will come and remove the stump with his mini excavator because the mini-x is super fun.
This Covid-19 chaos has been hard on everyone and I’m certainly not immune. There still isn’t toilet paper in the stores. But you all know that already. I’ve been saving all of the paper I would normally recycle for just in case. These are desperate times.
My bestie, Crystal, practically forced me to paint this week and I’m grateful. In other news, my painting won first place in the canceled art show at the closed museum. At least they went through with judging the art even though no one saw it in person aside from the judges. It was really a nice little surprise.
Stay safe out there and wash your hands. 🙂
Beautiful painting! Congratulations on your win!
