It was fun to break up a round object like this. I just knocked over the stacked apple from the last painting and I love, love how it turned out. The painting itself seemed to fly by. I sat down to work on it and couldn’t for the life of me figure out what it needed. I apparently hadn’t noticed that I had finished it already.
This is the 10th of 30 in my still life series which means I’m a third of the way done. Yay! Once I complete this series I will have painted almost twice as many paintings this year than I did last year. Productivity feels good.
What can I say….love them apples! Great series!
Thank you! I’m having fun painting them, but only two left.
Wow you have the patience of a friend I know. Anne-Marie Zanetti. Australian Artist. Check out her work. Realistic art seems to be very popular here at the moment. Artists are getting good sales from it.
Thank you, I’ll check her out.
Nice variation, I like how they are on a sloping surface but is the feeling of levitation on the right deliberate?
Thank you. I don’t see the levitation. To me they are firmly sitting on the table.
