As the title would suggest, this post is about what I like to refer to as the wastelands. While there are some really beautiful and unique areas in and around Moab, the vast majority of the area is wastelands. Nothing really grows there or lives there, water is scarce, and the beauty is… subjective. This little corner of wastelands is right next to Arches National Park also known as the Klondike Bluffs. The closer you get to the park, the more interesting it gets, but for the most part, the pretty views are of the park itself or the Book Cliffs off in the distance. The plus sides are that it is steep and you won’t run into very many people.
You captured the area beautifully! We plan to check out the National Parks in your area in the Spring 😉
Thanks. I hope you enjoy your trip!
