Hidden Valley is a hike I’ve hiked countless times. So many times, that I usually don’t take my camera anymore. These photos are from two hikes I took last winter. I just loved the look of the dead tree next to the trail and the mountains framed by the valley.
It has a nice steep beginning followed by two relatively flat valleys. I usually only hike to the end of the first valley though. Last time I went it was a bit slick in a few places, but it has been warm so I expect the ice melted for the most part and it’ll just be muddy if anything. In the summer, it’s a nice evening hike. Everywhere is good for an eventing hike in the summer though.
Wow Amber! Beautiful photography! It would be a dream to paint there!
Thank you! One of these I’ll get into plein air painting.
You have such an unique perspective of color and design, I can’t wait to see what you would create with plein air!
That’s very kind of you to say that. Thank you! 🙂
